Distance learning education This approach also allows universities to maximise the reuse, repurposing and rebundling of online courses created and delivered on online platforms, and to use these for campus-based learners, and in partnership with other universities, playing to the need for efficiencies. Similar to a traditional learning environment, where academic members use different instructional methods, as per their course objectives, academic level of students and field of study. In one course, the online learning aspect may be used to enhance the face-to-face delivery of lectures with the use of instructional materials being provided through a virtual platform or any other technological communication medium. In another course, classroom instruction may be blended with online learning and teaching, in such a way that a 3-h course will be delivered, 2h in a classroom set up and the remaining 1h through an online platform. There are also cases where courses are fully delivered onl
